A compelling investigative documentary on intensive farming, an intimate essay doc exploration of past relationships via self-recorded imagery, and a journey into a family archive: 3 new Italian films come to Bertha DocHouse this summer, marking another collaboration with Cinecittà – one one of the biggest European film studios and distributor, whose work also includes promoting Italian cinema both at home and abroad – and the 100th anniversary of Istituto Luce, whose film and photographic heritage, is today preserved and curated by Cinecittà.
All screenings are UK premieres and 2 of them include Q&A with the filmmakers. 20-21 July.
