This summer, Franka Potente, the star of Tom Tykwer’s Run Lola Run, turned fifty. The Goethe-Institut London celebrates this occasion by showing Potente’s directorial debut Home. The film tells the story of Marvin who returns to his hometown in California after almost 20 years in prison to find that his crime has not been forgotten. A classic story told sensitively, with a sense of place, and an excellent ensemble including Oscar winner Kathy Bates.
