The ensemble is legendary, marking its 90th jubilee in 2024, with a history tracing back to its foundation in 1934 by pianist Josef Páleníček. Over the decades, the trio has won numerous awards for its recordings, particularly of the Czech repertoire, including multiple BBC Music Magazine Chamber Music Awards and accolades from publications such as Diapason and Le Monde de la Musique.
