Lőrinc’s expressive piano and trumpet playing is enriched by layered textures\, as introspective\, slower pieces alternate with energetic\, rhythm-driven themes to create a truly unique listening experience. \nThis performance is part of the EFG London Jazz Festival 2025\, proudly supported by the Liszt Institute – Hungarian Cultural Centre London. \n\n\nAbout the Artist \nBarabás Lőrinc is a Hungarian trumpeter and composer who has been an active presence in the Hungarian and international music scene for over twenty years. His work spans the boundaries of jazz\, electronic\, and neoclassical music\, blending trumpet\, piano\, and synthesisers into cinematic\, atmospheric soundscapes. \nOver his career\, he has released twelve albums—both as a solo artist and with various ensembles—and has performed extensively across Europe and the United States. He has shared the stage with Jean-Michel Jarre and collaborated with internationally acclaimed artists including Erik Truffaz\, Nicola Conte\, Takuya Kuroda\, Niklas Paschburg\, and Valerie June. \nIn his solo performances\, Lőrinc’s distinctive trumpet sound and expressive piano playing take centre stage\, enriched with electronic elements\, inventive textures\, and dynamic rhythms. His live shows seamlessly merge acoustic and electronic worlds\, offering audiences a unique and contemporary musical experience.
