Following the great success of their two pianos performance, Dimitris Karydis and Petros Moschos, the award-winning Duo Antithesis present a recital for one piano that blends lyrical beauty with emotional depth. The evening begins with Franz Schubert’s Fantasy in F Minor, a profound and dramatic work that showcases the composer’s unparalleled ability to blend lyrical beauty with emotional depth. Next, Georges Bizet’s suite Jeux d’enfants (Children’s Games), capturing the innocence and energy of youth through a series of charming miniatures. These delightful pieces convey the playful spirit of children, with Bizet’s characteristic melodic grace.
Maurice Ravel’s suite Ma Mère l’Oye (Mother Goose) invites listeners into a world of fairy tales and magic. Each movement paints a vivid picture inspired by classic stories, bringing to life the magic and wonder of childhood imagination.
