Sofia Vembo: The Voice of Greece

Hailed as the “Voice of Greece”, Sofia Vembo was a leading Greek singer and actress, known for her passionate love songs and famous for her performances for the Greek troops during World War Il.
This musical tribute honours this legendary woman whose voice still resonates across Greece and its diaspora. Katerina Clambaneva and her band will perform some of Vembo’s most memorable songs, including Tabakiera, Mona Zyga, Poso Lypamai and Misirlou.
