Myths in Motion is an interactive performance and creative workshop by Jessica Van de Koot blending Greek mythology with contemporary dance. This exciting experience brings to life beloved Greek Gods and Goddesses, including Athena and Poseidon, in a fun and engaging day for both children and adults. During the workshop, children will create a dance inspired by the myth of Icarus and Daedalus, exploring movement and storytelling through the lens of ancient mythology.
The VDK Dance Company is a team of professional contemporary dancers and teachers who have been delivering these performances and workshops in primary schools across England to children of all ages. The workshops are a fun, inclusive and engaging space for children to explore both dance and Greek Mythology. Prepare for a day filled with creativity, movement, and the magic of Greek myths, guided by Jessica Van de Koot and her talented team of dancers! For children aged 5 – 12 years.
